wr 400 cam timing

Hey guys.

Just checked and adjusted the valves the other day and went to put the cams back in when i remember i dont no how to line them up.I tried guessing a couple of times with no luck.

Can someone please tell me which way each exhuast and intake cam dots are supose to face

set your crank to TDC before anything else, install the cams with the lobes pointing to the outside of the head (they will point slightly up), now make sure that the timing mark toward the outer edge of each cam (in relation to the head) is exactly in line with the top of the milled head surface on both sides.
