oil filter resivoir, 07 yz-450

3 posts in this topic

Just wondering if there was any yz 450 owners out there of the 07 model year that has ever had trouble with the bottom bolt on the oil filter cover ? There is clutch shavings and other things in the threads making the bottom bolt really hard to turn out and thread back in.

there is a little hole that goes from the oil filter resivoir to the threads and from the threads it looks like it goes to the crankcase.

Wondering mabye if I could plug the hole off, doesnt look like it is a important hole anyway.

If there is any yz owners of this year in specific im sure you will know what I am talking about.

Thank you in advance for any and all info that anyone has to share
