Factory Valve Adjustment

I have an 09 450 with 3 hours that takes forever to start(20-30)kicks.When it does start it runs OK. I checked the valves today and they were all tight. Outside intakes were at .076 and center was at .102. Both exhaust were at .178. The exhaust cam punch mark was at 9 oclock and the intake at 3 oclock exactly even with the top of the head. The I on the TDC mark was in alignment on the crankcase cover. Am I missing something or could this bike have come from the factory like this.
