Electric start on a '99 wr400f.

A mate of mine has a '99 wr400f, and it has so much compression that he can barely move the kick starter. He isn't a small bloke (105-110kgs) and he struggles starting it. Well he is wondering if it would be possible to put electric start on the bike. It is currently kick start only. It also doesn't have a battery. Would this be to much mucking around, or would he be better off selling the bike and buying one with electric start already on it.

Thanks for any help.

Well theirs a way to start it up, maybe you(friend) don't know, so that's why he's having a hard time but to put a start on it yeah you'll be better getting one with a starter on it

just install an hotcam exhaust cam, they come with an autodecompressor....very easy to kick then
