1999 vs 2002

4 posts in this topic

I have a 2002 YZ426 that I have pieced together, so now I have a left over bunch of parts from a spare 2001 engine. Now, a buddy of mine is fixing up a 1999 and he insists that there are no crossover parts(I just wanna help him out) Is that true? My manual only shows a few changes in the addendum. I'm sure I could give him some of my internal stuff.

Thanks

JR

It depends. There are a lot of parts that crossover, but ther are a lot that don't too. Which parts is he needing?

He wasn't too specific, I have basically the whole bottom end in pieces(including all the clutch stuff) I was just trying to be helpful.
