06 clutch lever shocking me

12 posts in this topic

It's most likely to be a defective kill button. This happened to my '06 once, but it cleared up on it's own after a few minutes and hasn't happened since.

Lol...I had that problem occur during a hare scramble on my '06. It was quite an experience!

I raced a very windy, dusty hare scramble and the dust moving across my levers built up a static charge but only during the high speed sections. I would reach for my brake at the end of a straight and get a shock.

Replaced kill switch and checked spark plug boot. Still getting shocked is there a ground on the frame that I can check or something else?
