How loud is my 426?

Ok, so there are a few events in California I want to attend but I have to make sure my bike is under 96db. How loud is a 2002 W426F without the silencer in the pipe? What is the best/cheapest way to make it legal? ?

Stock Pipe uncorked will not pass! You will have to either reinstall the original baffle or purchase the new GYT-R, Pro Moto Billet, and/or Baja designs baffle.

The first two are around 40.00 but the last one is around 80.00.

I chose the GYT-R only because it came out before the PMB version.

Without the stock baffle I believe they are 105db.
