Thoughts on Rear Wheel (Rim)

My 2003 WR450:

So I am pissed at myself, on a stupid little mistake on nothing technical I hit a large rock after I lost control and bent my rear rim (also popped the tube and tire bead broke - a pain to ride back). I bought the bike used and it had black on black Excel rims and hubs. Since I do not know how to or want to lace a tire, i was going to get a complete wheel set (rim, spokes and hub assembled). I am on the verge of getting the same Excel set up from the TT Store, but wanted to see if anyone had any thoughts on the cheaper wheels or if it is just worth the couple extra bucks for the Excel set up. Thanks.

Lacing the wheel would be MUCH cheaper than the whole kit (SHOULD be, anyway!!!)....even if you have a shop do the work....it's worth looking into.

I have always been happy with quality and price of ProWheel:thumbsup:

you should check out the DNA wheels at mx wheels.com complete set black rims blue billet hubs front and back shipped to your door for 600.00 I have been really happy good luck Greg

For $600 I'm selling basically new complete wheels with tires and front disc. Check the classifieds I have two sets from a 250 & 450 08'.

I just bought a set on ebay, brand new off an 06 wr450 with tires, rotors, bearings, axles, everything for $450. I know where there are some more that have a little use on them also.
