slow to mid rpm richness

My wr 450 with 160 main 48 pilot runs rich at steady low to mid rpm needle is in 4th postion have also tried 150 main AND 45 pilot in other words stock jetting, This is one of the frist bikes and the air fuel screw fell out and was replaced. It ran very lean for about 4 miles think it got hurt?
