water in engine

will water in the oil cause havoc?It might be a miniscule amount should I tear down anything?

Just change the oil and see how it goes.

Its hard to tell how much water is in the oil without doing a test.

If it happens again it may be a waterpump seal.

These were a minor prob on the 98 YZ/WR.

If the bike is using water then its prob the seal.

Replace it with a 99 seal and possibly a 99 shaft. they have different coatings on the shaft.
