Craigslist Deal?

wow....another reason not to drink in the garage
That's an excellent point, but I think in this case the advice needs to be extended beyond just drinking, if you know what I mean.

Looks like a record album jacket from the late 'sixties....

yeah i agree with everyones input here. Put it to you this way, I just bought a new yz 450 2008 from moto world of el cajon in San diego. I paid 5k out the door.

Wow, you shouldnt paint your bike when you're color blind!

Looks like it would be a good fit for SF Gay Pride parade.

haha, this thread is funny. That bike is ugly, i'm surprised it isn't raced as number 69???

I think # 420 would be more appropriate..:busted:

looks like beat up shit. just sayin

I didn't see anything on the news about the krylon factory explosion

Dude, put down the bong and step away from the spray paint!

cant even look at it.

There could be a silver lining here. He will most likely have a hard time selling it for obvious reasons, after a while he will become desperate and you will be able to get it very cheap. Strip the paint off of the swingarm and silencer, take 30 minutes to bead blast the engine covers, peel off the graphics and you will have a somewhat normal looking bike for little money.

Then you'd have to ask yourself how such an individual would be about maintaining his bike.

True, and of course you would have to look it over like any bike when you go see it. However, most people who take the whole bike apart and powdercoat the frame (and other parts) will grease the bearings when they put it back together. This guy just happened to be drunk when he decided what colors to make everything. The biggest thing you would have to look out for IMO is how often he changed the oil, checked the valves, and changed the cam chain.

I'm a little North of the Sacramento area and have seen this bike on cls for dayyys now. Not surprising though:bonk: :busted:

Well I wouldn't buy it that's for sure. I would ride it if someone gave it to me, but I would get rid of the graphics and the red!!

damn, that is some serious ugly... makes you feel sorry for the bike, i'm sure it probably gets roosted on by all the other normal bikes at the dunes...

If a guy could get it cheap enough and put a little labour into the stripping paint. It could be a deal ???? or not....

The ad actually says it is powder coated.

Might be a little tough to get that off.
