Well I pay $1400 for my 00 wr400 year and half ago in hollister, runs good small carb adjustment need it, green sticker, not plated, only extra it's the white bros muffler, what area u located?

I just sold my 1997 Honda XR400 for $1200 bucks and it had a plate...

so i would think you could get 1400-1800 for a plated 2000 model wr400

Just paid $2000 for my 2001 WR426 --- without plate.... in Michigan.

Plated the 426 is probably worth around $2200-$2300

I've seen the 400's sell for $1500 --- and around $1600-1800 w/ plate.

its not harder, its imposible. if it doesnt already have a plate or come brand new from the factory/dealer with a plate it cant be done. and even if it is (one of my friends converted his recently) the dmv pulls the plate when it comes up for renewall. you bike is worth what the person buying it thinks it is. if its clean and well maintained you can get upwards of 3000.

Start $2000 - $2200 so yo have room for the buyer to talk you down and both of you will leave happy..
