2010 Wr 450

There will not be a 2010 WR 450f.

I guess you better find a 2009 and mod it out because there is nothing in line for 2010.

You know, Australia's top selling motorcycle for many years has been the WR450F.

I reckon if sales were similar across the globe it would be the WR that got the reverse cylinder and stuff before the YZ!

The WR has always recieved the "YZ" treatment a year or sometimes 2 years later than the YZ ever since the WR was introduced. It will be 2011 or 12 before you see the WR sporting any of these new ideas. Maybe by that time someone will have come up with an off-road sized tank, so you can get out of site of the truck. Until then, enjoy the BNG. WR Dave.

It will be in the line up of course. I went to dealer yesterday and he had the fresh off the Yamaha 2010 model meeting brochure and it was in there. Just printed it out a couple hours before I got there. Looks like they are all there. Forgot to look for the WR450R though...

That tank is tiny! I know, I know: it's a "motocross bike" but I bet Clarke and IMS are gonna have a grand ol' time figuring out how to get an extra half gallon without totally ruining the ergos.

Maybe by that time someone will have come up with an off-road sized tank, so you can get out of site of the truck.

If Yamaha sold a street legal WR in the US, like you get, I reckon sales would triple if not quadruple here in the states:bonk: NEW ENGINE DESIGN OR NOT

All the major brands are plated here in Oz.The only down side is Suzuki refuse to put there new FI 450 enduro through the licensing process on the poor excuse that the recession will restrict sales.Dumb bar stewards!I will have to keep the 2000 wr400 until Yamaha bring out the 2010yz in wr trim..

That's EXACTLY why I switched to the KTM 530EXC. I wanted something street legal off the showroom floor that I could get a large fuel tank for. I love my KTM, but if/when Yamaha decides to make something comparable I will switch back in a heartbeat! :busted:

There won't be a 2010. That's why I just bought the 09 yesterday. There are too many 09s in the warehouses here in the US to justify firing up the assembly line to produce the excat same bike with BNGs.

Rumor has it the 2011 will be all new just like the 2010 YZF. I'll be waiting until 2012 ti get the new WR.

My only concern for the new WR is going to be the tank. They (IMS/Clarke) are going to have a big problem getting a larger tank to fit on that thing.

well I'll reconfirm it... the 2010 will be an '09 no matter what country or sticker kit, the WR is officially on hold for '10... and I too think this extra year will help figure out where to put more tank :busted::D:D
