Constant speed surging.

I have an 08 WR450 with the stock AIS kit and its suggested jetting. [i'm in MI at about 1k feet of elevation.]

The bike runs flawlessly on the trails, but if I'm on the street at a constant RPM it starts surging.

Question 1 - What are the ramifications of riding a few hours of street duty this weekend without making any changes? I'm assumings its a lean condition? Will it be lean enough to damage the motor? Is there a bandaid fix (like opening the airbox door, that would help the sitaution temporarily until I can fix it properly.)

Question 2 - What is the correct fix?

1) Assuming your jetting is correct, the stutter is not related to jetting...its related to the TPS (throttle positioning sensor). All the WR I have ever been on have done this on the road. I just dont ride in that spot.
