Fork Seal Grease?

3 posts in this topic

What is the best kind of fork seal grease to use? I've been using just some plain old white lithium grease. My fork work great and don't leak but the initial stroke seems to stick just a tad. Is there better grease that will lesson the fork stiction?

Why are you using grease?

You would be 100% better off just buying a set of Sealsavers to protect the seals from mud and dirt...and no mess to clean up.

Bonzai :)

Agree with Yamakaze

Seal savers are a great investment.

As far as greese the manual calls out for a litium base only (NO PETROLIUM)

I packed the dust seals with it and the placed the seal savers on
