WR400 FCR39H carb question.

1 post in this topic

While ordering from "Sudco" I mistakenly looked at the newer MX schematic for the carb and noticed that the more modern version has an interesting addition.

The jet needle, in addition to a clip at the top, has a washer and above that a small spring to steady the needle, then lastly the needle set screw. It makes sense to steady the needle and not have it dance around inside the main nozzle...has anyone tried to make this little addition to an older FCR39H carb that is all the same in that area of the carb except for that little spring?
