Easy fix for leaky fork seals

This is something I learned from my good friend Dana.

Its rare for the seal to be destroyed, most of the time it is just dirt stuck in it.

You take 35mm film negative, pull up the dust boot, and snake the negative material down the fork leg between the seal and the leg. It works easy when the film is contoured to the fork leg. Just move it up and down going around the leg and the little square holes in the film move the dirt out. Replacing fork seals is about the last job I want to do to my "Betty".
