SOS-911-Help-2004 WR450 Oil Replacement Amount

I just moved and cant find my manual and need the engine oil amount to add after an oil change (with out filter change). WR450 2004

I was going to measure what came out but the frame drain plug promptly fell into the funnel plugged it and oil overflowed the funnel into the milk jug and is now all over the floor- classic.

Yamaha online doesnt have 2004 available anymore.

Need to get this puppy buttoned up for ride tmrw.

Oddly enough the Yamaha USA sees it fit not to make 04 manuals available, but Yamaha Australia does. But then the mind starts saying well those folks might have different specs etc................

Overfill, bad, underfill bad..........

1 quart it is and I will run er up the street a bit then check the dip stick.

150 miles in the cascades here I come.

My 07 takes 29 oz. when its changed and the filter cleaned. Easier than putting in a full quart, then draining some out.
