03-06 WR 450 rear tail rack

14 posts in this topic

$65 shipped in the US. Easy to install. Works well with a small bag and helmet bungee net; also doubles as a grab handle.

Thanks,

Ryan

Thanks. No pic fitted, but can work on that if needed. The rack is approximately 7"x9" and weighs just 2 lbs. It is black powder coat, welded construction, and requires no mods to install (mounts to both seat bolts and the exhaust hanger mount).

What is the distance from the top of the fender to the bottom of the rack? Just wondering if it would fit above a fender tool bag. Looks nice for long dual sport trips, would not want it on the bike for serious off roading.

I will take a look at it tonight to see if a fender pack would fit under it, but based on memory, I think a spare tube fender pack would. Will confirm and post tonight. BTW, just over $90 shipped from the eBay link, and this one is like new.

Thanks,

Ryan

I like it, but damn! i have a hard enough time getting my leg over my fender mounted bag after a hard ride as it is. that will make my bag 2" taller.

Got some details. Not enough room for tube fender pack under, but you could always put that on the front fender by cutting out a four notches (have seen a lot do it that way). Yes, it will raise the height you have to get your leg over, but it is a nice platform to put a decent pack and keep it away from the exhaust , and doubles as a good grab handle. Pics installed coming momentarily.

BTW, just have one extra of these to sell...so is anyone interested at $65 shipped?

Thanks,
