426 Loose Flywheel

1 post in this topic

My bike is at the dealer getting a new pipe and re-jetting on the dyno. It was missing and backfiring so they went to check the timing and found that the flywheel was ready to fall off because most of the threads have stripped from the crankshaft. I have never even had the cover off, so the nut must have been over-torqued at the factory.

Something to look for when checking over your bikes for that first spring ride.
