09 WR450F pricing questions

I'm looking to buy an 09 WR450 to replace my plated XR-R. I was given a quote of 7200 + tax and

30.00 to title it. What with the economy and all, I thought dealers would

be more willing to deal. Anybody bought one lately? Can I ask what you paid?

Does the offer I was given sound decent (especially since it will come with

a tag and title)?

Tanks,

$6200 otd for my '09

I'd try a new dealer.

Whoa, way high price.

Just got a quote from another shop.

6,800.00 OTD with a tag and title. I'll bounce that off the first shop and see

if he'll play ball. If he doesn't, I'll be all over the 6,800 deal.

This is where I bought my bike 2 months ago. $6188 OTD.

Right now, I'd think you could get that price down close to a grand more if you call around. Even if it ends up being an overnight adventure, costs you five bills to get it, would be worth it.

A dealer in Alabama has a leftover 07 brand new, price- $3999!!!!!!!!

Dang, at that price it would be worth having one in dirt trim and one in supermoto trim

I purchased an 08 WR450F for $5200 out the door in 5/08. I'd keep looking. Im still seeing them and YZ450's selling for the same price still. Be patient and keep looking.

I'm limited on where I can buy it. If the dealer can't (won't) plate it for me,

I'm sol. I can't buy it just anywhere and bring it back cause I can't get it tagged

in NC. It has to previously be tagged somewhere else.

I think I'm back to looking at KTMs and Huskys. I do have one more dealer to

talk to on Thurs.
