Motocross Wedding?

Recommended Posts

Okay everyone, I LOVE dirt biking and anything to do with it, so does my fiancé, so I was thinking...MX wedding! The cake will be decorated around the mx theme, two dirt bikes with riders for the topper. Not sure about the dress/attire, I want us to be wed on our bikes, so I don't know if I should wear a dress and just have it be shorter so it won't get tangled or if I should wear gear. He is going to wear either the gear or just a jersey and blue jeans. What do yall think??

If you ask me this traditional wedding stuff is over rated. I can't see spending that kind of money for few hours of show people you have money. When I got married 22 years ago it was a lot of money then. I want to say everything was well over $20,000. Sure it didn't all come out of my pocket, but I'm sure if we spent a 1/4 of that on it would would have had as good of a time. I say save your money on the traditional wedding and do it your way. :banghead:

I also think when some dies it shouldn't be a time for everyone to be so down. I hope when I die it turns into a party. Not a party that I'm gone, a party of all of the good times when I was around. :banghead:

Maybe I'm just strange, but I kinda like this idea.. If it's your first wedding, I'd say go in traditional dress/tux and have the bikes set as the backdrop.. That's just me though..

wow its sad that now days we can gauge your wedding style by what number it is......

My friend is getting married in August of this year, and she is also having a dirt bike/riding themed wedding. She is getting married in a church like normal...with the whole white dress and tux thing. But whenever the bridal party and the bride and groom get introduced at the reception (which is being held outside at a park) the groomsmen are escorting the bridesmaids in with Rhinos.. and the bride and groom are coming in on their dirt bikes. Only the bridal party know about it too, so it should be a nice surprise for the guests. She is planning on getting her dress altered so she can tie up the back of it and wear her riding pants underneath to ride the bike in. The best part is the maid of honor (me) will be driving the Rhino and escorting the best man because they don't trust him enough to drive one!:excuseme:
