Steering stem bearing question

4 posts in this topic

I took my steering stem appart and the top bearing had dirt on it but the bottom was fine. My question is, What is the part # for the metal insert that is in the neck of the frame that holds the top bearing in place (or from falling down in the tube), the top bearing, and the rubber coated race, that sits on top of the bearing that comes in contact with the spanner nut? Thanks I dont want to order the wrong pn and the microfiche for this is confusing.

This is for an 01 426

If i'm understanding your question correctly you will need:

BEARING (5JG5) 93332-00078-00

COVER,BALL RACE 2 (5JG5) 4EW-23416-00-00

WASHER,PLATE (5JG5) 90201-286K9-00
