08 YZ450F Jetting specs?

Can anyone recommend proper jetting for an elevation of an average of 5500 ft.?

I am curious of this as well. I live in Albuquerque, NM which is right around the 5500 mark. I too get some popping on decel.

No offense gray, but the link for the 08 model does me (and the OP I suspect as well) no good as most of the posters are right around sea level.

It would be nice to hear some jetting details from other who are on or around our elevation.

Thank to all for your help and insight.

Did you miss the part where I told you how to correct for the altitude?

No, but again it would be nice to actually see someone post some real world results.

Main Jet 160

Pilot Jet 45

Leak Jet 55

Stock Needle Position 3

Fuel Screw Turns 1-1/2

Altitude 5-7k

Temperature F 50

Plug Condition white

Result No Complaints

Stock 2008 YZ450 w/ PMB Spark Arrestor

Its running a bit lean but when I change the clip to 4 it "lopes" at low throttle. Just bought the bike new Nov 08 so havent had a chance to experience warm weather jetting yet. I suspect it will be pretty close.

You should post this to the jetting DB. :p

Done

thanks dude! According to the owner's manual, those specs are the same as stock. That's sweet because I guess I don't need to change a thing.
