At the end of November I crashed my dirtbike and ended up with a PCL avulsion in my left knee. Basicly I hit my shin so hard that the PCL ripped out from where it was anchored in my Tibia taking a small piece of bone with it. I saw several knee specialists and in the end we decided not to do PCL surgery since the joint is not overly loose. I have been doing rehab to build up my quadriceps to help support my knee. I am now walking normally, with the only noticeable change in my gait is when I walk DOWN stairs. I am considering getting either the Don Joy forcepoint, or Don Joy Legend. I have also looked at the CTi, but decided that the way it is designed, it would not support the PCL well enough since the brace itself does not support the back of hte calf, only the straps do, and therefore would not offer enough support for the PCL injury. My question is "Which brace is best suited to riding dirtbike after a PCL injury?" Is there a better option than those I have listed that I don't know about? I want to hit the trail wearing a comfortable brace as soon as possible. Also, shoudl I get a matching pair for both legs? Thanks. D.L. Pingtung, Taiwan.
