Grand Lake, CO riding

Has anybody ridden near Grand Lake in CO? I am planning a trip there and would like to know what to expect. Is it mostly single track or 4WD roads? How easy is it to find a camping spot (no fees)? Any recommended trail loops?

The single track is great and so are the 4wd trails. All seems to be easy to intermediate level. You need to be very good at tight trees and switchbacks in some places. I have not been able to locate a good trail map of the area. There is lots of camping and enough riding to keep you entertained for awhile. CAUTION: There is one 4wd rd that ends in a CLIFF: Don't bomb down the road until you know it.
