No Clutch Pressure/2001 YZ426F

3 posts in this topic

I am hoping someone can help me. I recently took apart my clutch/clutch basket, etc. to put a new shift shaft in. I got the motor back together and now I have no pressure when pulling in the clutch lever? Thanks.

Possibilities:

  • Ball missing between push rods 1 & 2
  • Clutch basket/boss improperly stacked on the mainshaft, so that it is not drawn up far enough.
  • Plates stacked wrong.

Open the clutch cover and start taking it back apart until you find out what's wrong.

Gray Racer,

Thanks for the reply. I understand what you all said and I went through a few minutes ago and checked all this. It seems to be right/nothing missing, but I must obviously be doing something wrong.
