wr400 sprocket gearings?

1 post in this topic

hi all

i have a 98 wr400 set on yz timing .

the time has come to change my chain & sprockets . I am curruntly using 13/48 teeth sprockets . which i have always used & been happy with . The bike is used for green lanes only , has a top speed of 90ish (according to the speedo!)(fast enough in knobblys - dont want to go any faster on road).

The front end comes up nicely in all gears .

So should i play with the gearing a little or not

what do you all use ???

-Not interested in any more top speed as the bike is off road 90% of the time
