Post Pics Of Your 426

Thank you, iam very proud of it because i have done all the work that has been done to my bike to make it look like it does currently.

Its powder coat... as well as the clutch, stator, and valve cover.

Here's my 02 WYZRF (wizzerf) 426

Yes I do ride it, it has lots of hours actually but I keep it clean and spend way too much money on it with new stuff.

Thanks. I love my blue rims! I laced them up when the bike was a couple weeks old. Last winter I finally had to build another set, the old rims where trashed.

What size wheels did you go with for the front and back? Are they Excel?

'01 426.....not many original parts anymore...... :)

Is that a 450 swing arm, shock and forks as well? Nice 426 by the way!

Yep, they are Excels. I used the stock sizes (1.60 x 21 front, 2.15 x 19 rear).

heres my contribution

3 pages and no Yellow ones, I've posted this before so here is the most recent pic.

My 400. It as seen a lot since these pics and tt needs some work like bearings, some new plastics and such, but it runs very well, knock on wood.

Curious, how many of you did the 450 exhaust cam swap? Best money ever spent on this bike, period.

I actually just did it recently while I swapped in a new piston. I must say that while it is kinda nice I don't see the big hoopla over it. Most say it's the best mod for this bike, I would say the JD jet kit was 300 times better. It's definately not worth the $150 I spent on the Hotcam which is why I waited so long to do it in the first place. Will it come in handy when I'm stuck on the side of a hill? Maybe but I have been stuck on hills before with the stock cam and it's not that big a deal.

I sort of feel the same way, but sometimes its just the little things that matter.... easy bump starting is the ticket for me.

Yeah I would say that the easier bump starting is the biggest benefit as well. That is definately nice =)

I saw lots of compression releases in the pictures....

If your talking about mine , i left it in place so i can clear it if it floods and as anal as iam i like to kick my bike i few times through before a cold start-up to prime the engine with oil. Also didnt have to buy a plug for the head.

as for me im just lazy and have 2 other bikes so the 426 is the last to get money now :/

I'm not picking on anyone... just an observation.

left mine on, once I learned to start it.:usa: I did not see the need.

I just got my 426 a little over a month ago and I'm considering it. I don't really have any issue with starting it so far though. Usually 3 kicks or so will get it started if its been real cold out and the bikes been sitting. After that it fires first kick. The only thing that bothers me is the previous owner has a Shimano bicycle lever as the decomp lever...... It works fine but its a bit annoying having that big lever hanging around.

That's right! I also agree with the fact of having it just in case your bike floods and getting the motor primed....it doesn't bother me!
