Anyone Put YZ Plastics on a 07-09 WR ????

5 posts in this topic

Just curious if you can pull the headlight and put on a standard

number plate, as well as a standard YZ rear fender.

Im considering making the bike more trail ready compared to

dual sport. I dont really need the headlight or tail light, so

why have them on to break.

to put the number plate on correctly you will need to remove the enduro computer...

as for the rear fender that is a no go...

Correct

as for the rear fender that is a no go...

The YZ rear fender works...you just need some spacers (around 1/2") between the sub-frame and fender.

No need to change the stock rear fender, the tail light is removable.

Check out this thread, there is a good tutorial on headlight removal. Pretty simple, and yes the tail light is removable.
