Tire Question

1 post in this topic

I think I've decided on new tires....Pirelli's (MT44 Front & MT18 Rear). Are Pirelli sizes as screwed up as Michelins. Stock is a 110/100-18 in the rear, can I run a 120/100 Pirelli without any trouble. Don't want something too wide though. Also, Pirelli lists a "Heavy Duty" version of the MT18....what makes it Heavy Duty? Is it a 4 ply versus a standard 3 ply? On Pirelli's website they say it is a Polyester tire....So, aren't they all? Any tire experts out there care to explain....Thanks
