Considering wt loss on the wr450 would removal of the over flow res. and accompanying hoses be worth while or is it crucial to keep attached to prevent excessive fluid loss or over heating. anyone with experiance on this? Any other cheap wt. to loose?

John, You can do it no problem... If you ride in hot areas or slower speeds I wouldn't recommend doing it but it's no a big deal to loose it. The YZ's don't have it anyway...

I have to keep an eye on my coolant levels constantly with my YZ. after a couple of tight Harescrambles I have to add some. Not like my WR. I have been thinking of adding a WR coolant recovery tank to my YZ to save money on $18.00 coolant all the time.
