Will Yamaha extend 0% for 12 promo?

Who knows. My guess would be that as long as the economy is in the tank and sales are slow they will keep offering those terms.

FWIW, last year they had the 0% offer, I think it was no interest for 24 months, not sure about no payments or such...I thought, "eh, they do that stuff all the time," and passed. It went away on the first :busted: They still had the $69 per month for 24 months(they always have that) but not the 0%. On one hand I wish I would've done it(I got the normal 69 per month deal), but I think I ended up with a much better deal price-wise when I bought in June. Another concern I had was having this sweet new bike sitting in my garage for who-knows-how-long-before-I-can-ride-it...when I bought my bike in June, I was on it the next day :moon:

We have an indoor facility about 2 hours away so we ride there a couple times a month during the winter.:busted:

I just bought my 08 YZ450F in August and got 0% interest for 12 months through Yamaha. I've since paid it off, but that is such a sweet deal if you can pay if off before those terms end. If you read the contract closely, when the 0% interest rate period expires, the interest rate jumps to 23.xx%. Ouch, talk about taking it up the :busted:

It's worse than that. If you carry a balance beyond the 0% period, the new, higher rate applies to the entire unpaid balance retroactively to the date of purchase.

It's a great tool, but like a chainsaw, it must be used wisely.

Scott Powersports in coopersburg. I am pumped. I couldnt see spending another 2,000 on the 09.

I'm on the opposite side of the state (Go Steelers), but I graduated from Moravian College.

I see Yamaha has $750 rebates on 09 models. When was this? As of Friday my dealer said there was no rebates on 09's and there was no 08's left ( which have $1000 in rebates). What gives? I guess I will go elsewhere for a new bike. Heck I have put off buying one because I know they would be rebates here soon!

Anyone in WV , NY PA OH want to sell me a bike, email me a price with the rebate included. I am buying one this week. I don't care where it comes from. BTW, I will be at NEMX in Ohio on Saturday for you OHIO dealers.

Your dealer said they didn't have any 08's left!! I was at my local Stealership on Saturday and they still had at least one brand new 07 450F on the floor. I am wanting to buy a new '08 but I can't get any local dealers to give me a decent price. So I am holding onto my money. Eventually I will find someone who is willing to make a good deal to someone other than the local hotshot racers.

Hmmm...maybe not on all of them Gray. Reason I say that is because I bought my '08 on the 0%, 0 payment for 6 months and it came due last Friday. I forgot that it expired until just a couple days beforehand and was going to Fedex the payoff. So I read the statement very carefully and it says that no interest even begins accruing until the promo period is up...so they truly did give me 6 months with no interest. I then called to verify that, which they did, so I just sent it in via regular mail. The 0/0/12 month could be set up differently though.

I beleive that if they accrue interest from the date of purchase with an agreememnt to credit it all back if paid off by a certain date then they are required to show the accrued interest on the monthly statements...could be wrong on that though so be sure to check with your professional finaincial advisor.
