Needle jet unscrewed

1 post in this topic

My buddy & I were out riding the other day and my 01 426 wr started popping and acting like it was running out of fuel. We limped it home and I drained the float bowl into a cup to check for water (none) Then I tried to unscrew the main jet only to find it loose, so I continued to unscrew it only to find out that It was the needle jet that was loose. In that condition it was sucking the bowl dry and fouling the plug by running so rich. I've changed main jets before but never had even looked at the needle jet before on this bike.

Weird EH! Oh Well lesson learned....
