Eric Gorr yz 300...info finally!

I have just fitted the Eric G 295 enduro to my 09 YZ and its awesome. First impression from my track at home is lots more bottom / mid and a little more top end power. It seems to rev just as hard as the 250. Jetting is rich now, bike will be sent to dyno early in new year. If possible I will post curves from dyne, jetting and pipe details. I race enduro and cross country and this engine is exactly what i have been looking for - Yes i am in love, thanks eric hahahaha.

I bought a bored 300cc cylinder from Eric about 12 years ago, and know firsthand what he means about the problems. First, I had to file away the powervalve to the point where I had to remove one of the dowels that located the two halves together. The valve was only about two-thirds its original thickness, and virtually ineffective. I never did get it jetted properly, but it was dang fast!

Where can you buy this complete bike looked on net and cant find any info on if they sell this as a complete bike out of there showroom thanks Rick

That's a misprint. The Eric Gorr 295 kit(s) are 72mm bore, definitely NOT 285.

i was wondering has anybody used the yz300 mx version yet. i am sending my yz250 to eric for a full rebuild and a left case that had spider cracks in it, and i am interested in the 300 kit
