vapor installation

1 post in this topic

Installing a trail tech vapor on a 426 and wondering about the "power" wire. Computer works without power wire installed (via battery of course), and the way I understand it the only effect of not hooking up the power wire is that the backlight will not remain lit very long, and the warning LED's for temp, when to shift, etc do not function. Just don't really want to cut into the stator wire on the bike.

Anyone know if there are any other problems of not connecting the wire to the stator??

Thanks,

C
