Want to remove gold anodize from front forks

One thing you all need to keep in mind. When a bare part is anodized, the process causes growth of a few thousandths of inch thick. Striping it removes the layer and the part is slight smaller than the part was during the manufacturing process. Re-anodizing brings the thickness back somewhat but it will be smaller than before the stripping.

William is correct. That's why I had to strip the coating from the piston's it was binding the piston against the seal and causing them to stick. Once stripped they worked fine.
