Funny when i had my 99 WR I never needed the hot start. If I dropped it would take 2 kicks to start. If I remembered to pull the hot start it would start right away but would stall before I could push the knob on the carb back in. So I got to the point where I would just kick twice with the Decomp pulled and do the drill and it would start right up. I must have got the jetting spot on.
