Plated 03 YZF450 anyone??

Does anybody happen to have a plated YZF450 outside of California? Specifically TX. I'm tossing the idea around of converting my 03 to plated, if I can register it in Texas. I know I can't register it here in CA, but that's o.k. If anybody has, what was required to make it legal? Any help would be appreciated. I want a plated bike, just can't afford a new bike right now.
