'06 Yz450f - Suspension Sweet Spot

3 posts in this topic

At one point, I had my '06 YZ450 dialed in with sag , clickers, etc. to where it was cornering and handling perfect. Of course, I had to mess with it and lost that "sweet spot". Anyone have the perfect sag setting, etc. to share? It still corners fairly well, but again at onepoint I had the rear wheel sliding around in turns perfect, and can't find that setting!

There is no 'perfect' setting. It varies from rider to rider and condition by condition. I would suggest a rider sag setting of 95mm though.

Ya thats a good sag number. I ride mine with stock clicker settings, except the forks which i play with a few clicks in compression either way depending on the track. the SSS suspension is amazing i have no complaints
