WR450 5 Speed Motors

Are all the 5 speed wr450 motors basically the same? 04,05,06,07, and 08....thanks.....

In terms of gearing spacing yes.

The 07+ models have a different primary reduction ratio which allows for a 13T front sproket instead of a 14T like the '03-'06 while having the same overall gearing

05/06 have slightly lower compression and milder cams than the 03/04. Other than that they are basically the same.
