WR400 jetting for altitude

3 posts in this topic

Need some help guys. I am taking my '00 WR400 to Taylor Park, CO soon for a weeks riding, altitude varying from 6000 - 12000 ft. The 400 has the stock FCR carb, stock jetting (165 main, 42 pilot, needle clip in the 3rd groove) , stock exhaust with baffle removed. Does anyone have jetting suggestions?? Thanks.

Well, my 07 has the JDJetting kit with the 168 main and 48 pilot. I went to Kennedy Meadows a couple of weeks ago and it got to 9,800' with no issues.
