pre-prime radiator overflow ?

have just fitted a radiator overflow bottle to my 02 426 under the left hand side of the rear guard, do i have to put some fluid in it to pre prime it ? or will it do this its self if the radiator gets to hot, ??

Come on guys do i overfill the radiator so theirs fluid in the overflow bottle , or leave it empty and let the radiator pressure do all the work ?

When using a coolant recovery system, fill the radiator completely full, then add about an inch of coolant to the bottle.
