Shiny Exhaust

2 posts in this topic

Does anyone got any tips on polishing the endcap for the stock exhaust. I have seen a bike posted with the whole muffler cleaned up and i think it looks purty sick. I know to use sand paper and some polishing stuff but i dunno where to start. any suggestions would help, thanks.

Presuming the endcap has a kind of matte silver finish to it now, start with about 600 grit sand paper and work your way up to about 1200. Then move onto a metal polish and polish it with a soft cloth until it's shiny .
