Will o-ring chain fit?

4 posts in this topic

Will a 520x114 link 0-ring/x-ring chain fit my 08 right out of the box? Or, will I have to cut it (grinder), or buy a special chain tool? Thanks for your help.

It will fit. The only issue would be the master link. The higher quality clip type links are press fit, so you'll need to have a master link press or use a C clamp/nut, pair of vice grips, etc. Be sure the clip groove is completely exposed.

A rivet type link requires a chain press/riveter tool, of course.

I bought a chain press tool from TT for about 12 bucks and installed my Regina ORN6 in about 5 minutes, works great
