Bubba on a Yamaha?

what's kawi gonna do? have RV fill Bubba's spot?

Yup, RV is 100% racing the 450 class aboard a KXF450 starting in Glen Helen.

This is a CZ:

I have to agree. Stewart doesn't need to be on a Yamaha..... He needs to go car racing and get out of MX.

sweet pic Gray

great pic Gray on the CZ, the question is did it break before the end of the race??

those CZ's are pretty cool, bout 3 weeks ago at a race here in hawaii, this guy phil overland or something raced a 1971 CZ 400 in the 30 vet class, and pulled a 2nd place against all these new 450s

Grey where was that pic from? Saddleback/Carlsbad? you be stylin......man:thumbsup:

yea I would be surprised if anyone under 45yrs old knows much about what the hey a CZ is. I rode one a couple of times then Elsinores(luv'd them) and Maicos(luv'd it), at some point, Hodaka, Bultaco, Puch ..... (well not much for positive reliability comments)

ah.......the good ole days...when suspension travel was not squat, Monkey Butt was as common as arm pump and not much was very reliabile for very long....I particularly remember when a decent size jump landing would cause the entire frontend of a certain yami 490 to fall off.....that one hurt...and most I knew that bought a suzuki TM400.....sold due to "injury forces sale"....you youngsters have no friggin idea how good we all have it now:excuseme:

Those were the days when any aftermkt part had to be remachined to even fit half properly.....

In two years, I replaced a rod bearing once, because it started making noise. The 4 speed CZ's were exceptionally reliable.

So RV is going to be riding a 450 outdoors this year? If thats true then I don't think he will do as good as he did on a 250F, he is really small for a big bike and I have seen him ride one and he looks better on the 250F.

Yeah, you'd need to be really big and powerful to ride a 450. You know, like Ricky is.

Ricky is tiny! I think it takes more skill to race a 250F and win since you have to be perfect everywhere on the track. If you watch Ricky and Bubba race they are barely on their pegs or seat, they pretty much hang on and dangle their legs behind them.

Wait, are you being sarcastic?

Ricky may be short, but he is strong.

thinking back

cz maico triumph sachs greeves my first hodaka wombat, zundapp nothing better than a right side shift bultaco alpina, montessa oh and who can forget the infamous can-am, leading link front forks oh myyy

Reid spotted this week in Socal on a Suzuki according to RacerX. Maybe they got tired of having nobody in the top 10 except when Dungey rides the big bikes.
