06 SSS Base Valve

So, got a quick question. Im pretty interested in the Merge racing Progressive Springs.

So this leads me to the question. I revalved my forks earlier, but I cant remember if I can just pull the base valving out without disassembling the entire fork.

The base valve screws into the top of the cartridge assembly, and need not be removed from the cartridge to change the main fork springs. If the springs you are talking about are the ICS, or free piston springs in the cartridge itself, then the cartridge would need to be disassembled and the springs installed.

Replacing the main springs requires only that the cartridge be removed from the fork, and the outer oil replaced.

ok thanks, i was talking about the springs on the base valve. the ICS springs.
