Using Honda clutch disks

I'm being told that Honda friction disks will do a better job in my WR450 than the factory Yamaha disks will. Does anyone have any experience with using Honda disks? Why are they superior to the Yamaha disks?

BTW: I'm installing a Rekluse Z-start clutch.

Never Heard that before......

OEM is the way to go when it comes to the friction plates and steel plates.

If the rekluse guys say to use Honda stuff, they probably have a good reason.

I never realized Honda made clutch components for a Yamaha....interesting.

It's not that Honda makes clutch plates for Yamaha, just that apparently they are dimensionaly the same...except for something that makes the Honda parts superior...like depth of the oiling slots or ???

The Rekluse is going in tonight...will report on how it works after this weekend's first abuse session.
