2000 Yamaha YZ426F Valve Change

7 posts in this topic

My 00 Yamaha YZ426F will need a valve change soon, Does anyone know where i can valves for this particular bike.

The OEM valves are your best bet. Make sure to get some new springs, cotters, and seals while your at it. You must have a machine shop resurface the seats or your new valves won't last very long. This guy does it for a fair price with a fast turn around: http://www.mxtime.com and I get my OEM stuff from: http://www.crotchrocket.com

Kibblewhite Valves!
...are overpriced, and are in no particular way superior to OEM Yamaha stainless valves that cost no more than $20 each for the purpose of building a stock or mildly modded engine.
