it's ma load of pipes to stop back popping under decel. it was for the 98/99 models and doesn't apply later.
the official write up is in the web archives but it's old info on the PAJ and SJ.
BUT NOBODY FROM ADMIN WILL CHANGE IT!
Aircut valve removed = de-octopussed
What difference is it supposed to make?
Removing the octopus:
1 - allows you to adjust the pilot screw jetting ACCURATELY.
2 - Removes the potential to pull out (excessive number of) vacuum lines reducing the chance of allowing dirt/water to sucked DIRECTLY into the intake of your engine.
3 - GREATLY cleans up the visual mess at your carb.
